Integrated Logistic Support (ILS)

HR4's Integrated Logistic Support service provides customers with the disciplines and management framework to ensure supportability and cost optimisation of equipment or systems throughout their full life cycle. We have a proven track record in providing Integrated Logistic Support to developers, manufacturers and procurers of equipment supplied directly to the MoD.

HR4's Integrated Logistic Support includes developing an ILS management infrastructure and capability, through a process of consultancy, formal training and ongoing project support.

Assessing each project on its own merits, and through the correct application of ILS and Project Management functions, we look to optimise the Whole Life Costs (WLC) of products or projects. This is to ensure that equipment or systems maintain readiness and remain operational.

ILS has heightened significance in the Defence industry - in accordance with Defence standard 00-60 for the UK (or respective standards for the country of acquisition) it is Defence policy that ILS disciplines are applied to all equipment procurement programmes. This includes Urgent Operational Requirement (UOR) programmes.
