SAFETY MANAGEMENTHR4 provides Safety Management services which result in a comprehensive Safety Case, built up with evidence collated during the Acquisition Cycle. This supports the delivery of a full or part equipment system into service. HR4’s Safety Management services are delivered in accordance with current standards and requirements. METHODOLOGYHR4 methodology follows a logical process, carried out in close co-operation with the Customer, Design Authority and Subject Matter Experts. Safety risks are evaluated and appropriate controlling measures are implemented, to reduce risk as far as is reasonably practicable. The safety management forum is the Safety Committee, managed by HR4 and includes all stakeholder representatives and the body which is collectively responsible for endorsing all aspects of safety, prior to the final acceptance of the Safety Case Report. SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMHR4’s safety management methodology develops a rational, coherent and auditable argument through the provision of a fully documented Safety Case. The use of a closed loop data management system provides a transparent audit trail, ensuring that due diligence has been observed and implemented by all stakeholders. The nominated Training Authority, Technical Publications Authority and other organisations may be required to act on and develop aspects of the safety management argument, within their own areas of responsibility. Safety verification may be carried out through the appointment of an independent safety auditor, providing impartial review of the management process and outputs. |
